We miss Daddy!

Jay has had been out of town for work all week, and boy are we ready for him to be home! I miss him so much and so do the kids. He is so good to help out with the kids, it is nice to have the backup at night! Luckily (for me anyway), kevin was out of town too, so Heidi stayed with me and helped out a ton with the kiddos. Thanks hi, love ya!
A few more hours, come home daddy!

Funny Sweet Kids

I love my kids and watching what they do and say.
Jaylee is the sweetest big sister, she is so kind to her brothers. She will always give up what is hers to make her brothers happy. Even when I tell EJ no, she will say "mom its ok I don't care" She is such a sweet heart. We went golfing for family night and she looked at me and said, "mom this is so relaxing" In her cute little voice what a sweet girl.
EJ is a crackup he looked at me the other day after watching a cartoon and said: "oh no mom they were kissing, but it's ok because he is the husband and she is his hunny!" (I don't know where he comes up with this stuff.) I really could write a book with the things he says.
On our trip to CA we discovered that Jett's favorite song is Apologize by One Republic. Weird song for a 9 month old to like, but it totally relaxes him. He can be fussy, we turn the song on and he totally relaxes. If we play it through 2-3 times he will fall asleep, crazy! We know have a copy of this song on standby at all times which really is a lifesaver, silly boy!

A busy busy week!

We have had quite the week around the Hoover home. Swim lessons started, dance started, I went back to work, was put in the relief society presidency, and we have a new cousin! All of these exciting events have left mom with little to no time for anything. lol!
Well it has been quite the fun and busy week. Jay's sister Heather had a baby girl on Tuesday, Keira Rose Jones. What a cutie she is!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Daddy's day! I know lots of us think our hubby is the best daddy, but I know mine is! lol. I know I could not do this w/o him. He is the best daddy and helps out a lot. He is also a very understanding and supportive husband. I know he loves me and I love him. I am one lucky gal!
We are also so lucky to have some terrific Dad's of our own. We love you guys and are grateful for your love and support!

CA Trip!

Finally I am posting again! Last week we went to CA to visit Jay's family. We had a great time and did all of the tourist things we never did when we lived there. We went to muir woods, the beach, oakland zoo, discovery kingdom, a ward picnic, baseball games, the movies, san francisco, the mall, and every where in between. Whew! I am tired just writing it all down! We had a blast and had a great time visiting with family as well. We miss you guys! I don't think we could have fit any more in if we would have wanted to.
The kids had so much fun. At Discovery Kingdom EJ loved the dolphins and whale show. Jaylee was of course a fan of the thrill rides. EJ after a tiny helicopter ride gets off and goes wow mom that blew my mind! He is so funny, he cracks me up!
Of the 100's of pics I took here are a few of our adventures!

Last Day of school!

Today was Jaylee's last day as a Kindergartener! She was very excited to inform me that she is now a 1st grader. Mom gets a little excited and sad with each milestone. I wish I could just bottle up her sweet innocence.

We also went to farm country on Tuesday this week. This is always one of EJ's favorite places. He gets to ride a horse what could be better?

On another note. Jett cut his second tooth this morning! Yeah just in time for our CA trip. Maybe now he will be a happy boy seeing Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins. As soon as I get a good picture of his now 2 teeth we will post!

Memorial Day

Well what a crazy Spring weather wet rainy even hail Memorial Day! One of my favorite things about memorial day is going to the Lehi city cemetary to walk around and visit EJ's grave and now Kynslee, and the other family members who are buried there. Everyone does such a good job the flowers are beautiful, such a nice tribute for those who have passed. It is also fun to look for those graves of soldiers. What a sacrifice so many make to protect our freedoms. I am grateful to all who make that sacrifice. I am so proud that both of my grandfathers were marines.

On one of the sunny breaks we went to the park and took some pictures, They turned out pretty good for doing them last minute by ourselves. (I love my new camera!) It doesn't hurt that the kids enjoy taking pics! EJ likes to be a goof ball, but they went well.
These are a few of my faves!
