From Dance Competitions, to workshops, holidays, science experiments, playing outside, performing at halftimes, family bowling, etc. Here is our picture update of the past few crazy months! This is the busy time of year being a dance teacher, it seems we have a competition every weekend. But, it does make for some great mother daughter time. Happy Birthday Jaylee!!

My baby girl turned 7 on Saturday January 31. I cannot believe she is 7. The past 7 years have flown by. It scares me to death that in a year she will get baptized. She is such a sweet girl, she asked for her own set of scriptures for her birthday. We have a year to get ready. She had a great day. She had dance pictures on her birthday so was lucky enough to get a makeover, what girl does not like that? While she was getting her makeover and pics Nanny, Pop-pop, Heidi, and Kristi came and brought Jaylee ballooons, a crown, a banner, and treats. She was so excited and loved the attention. We went to dinner at Rib City. (her favorite place) the girl love ribs. came home for cake and ice cream and presents. Then on Sunday we went to nanny and poppops for a super bowl/bday party. More cake ice cream and presents. What a spoiled girl on her birthday. Jaylee said it was the best birthday ever!!

Things I love about Jaylee
She is caring
She is a great big sister always tries to help her brothers
She is a good example for them
She tries to choose the right

We also took the kids to the Draper temple open house Jaylee's birthday week. It was so fun to take the kids inside and explain to the more about the Temple. It was very emotional for me, like a glimpse of what the future can be. They both loved it, and I would love to take them again.

Bangs!

Jaylee has been begging for bangs. I finally gave in and let her cut them. She thinks she looks pretty cute. She was so excited sitting in the chair she was almost shaking. My baby is getting to big, She kept asking me, "So do you think I will look good with bangs?" I said of course, and she would justt giggle. So here is my baby girls new hair do

Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas at our house. We were bummed Amanda got sick, hope your feeling better : ) We ended up at my Mom's Christmas Eve and did our annual Christmas pageant with the kiddos. They were so into it this year, Jaylee definately wanted to be Mary, and EJ wanted to be everything, Joseph, wiseman, shepherd, sheep, camel, donkey, even baby Jesus. He finally settled on being Joseph with a doll for baby Jesus. Jett just wouldn't hold still; much to EJ's disappointment. So Jett played the roll of "wandering sheep". The perfect part for a 15 month old!

The kids opened there annual Christmas Eve present Jammies! Although they have not yet figured out that they always get jammies on Christmas Eve. here is a pic in the new duds.

After we were done at my mom's we came home and the kids set out there cookies and milk, and wrote Santa a letter. They were so excited they were beside themselves. Jaylee kept asking about important things, like will Santa use our potty, or does he have a special one on his sleigh? Something I have never thought about hmmm?

Christmas is so fun with kids. I love it. It makes me feel like a kid again. We were definately spoiled rotten. Here is a pic of the loot Santa left. and the fun times had yesterday.

looking lovely christmas morning

A classic Jaylee reaction. She is so animated I love it. When she opened her art easel from Grandma & Grandpa Hoover she fell over. lol drama mama.
