Last Day of school!

Today was Jaylee's last day as a Kindergartener! She was very excited to inform me that she is now a 1st grader. Mom gets a little excited and sad with each milestone. I wish I could just bottle up her sweet innocence.

We also went to farm country on Tuesday this week. This is always one of EJ's favorite places. He gets to ride a horse what could be better?



On another note. Jett cut his second tooth this morning! Yeah just in time for our CA trip. Maybe now he will be a happy boy seeing Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins. As soon as I get a good picture of his now 2 teeth we will post!

Memorial Day

Well what a crazy Spring weather wet rainy even hail Memorial Day! One of my favorite things about memorial day is going to the Lehi city cemetary to walk around and visit EJ's grave and now Kynslee, and the other family members who are buried there. Everyone does such a good job the flowers are beautiful, such a nice tribute for those who have passed. It is also fun to look for those graves of soldiers. What a sacrifice so many make to protect our freedoms. I am grateful to all who make that sacrifice. I am so proud that both of my grandfathers were marines.

On one of the sunny breaks we went to the park and took some pictures, They turned out pretty good for doing them last minute by ourselves. (I love my new camera!) It doesn't hurt that the kids enjoy taking pics! EJ likes to be a goof ball, but they went well.

Sundays

Sundays really are my favorite days. I love going to church, coming home and doing nothing, maybe taking a nap, afternoon walk, just being with family. Those are some of my best memories lazy sundays are the best!

Random Sunday thoughts:
Jaylee has really become focused with making small stars at dance, she has wanted to stretch her splits and practice so she is ready when class starts. (too cute) my baby is growing up.
EJ has been offering a lot of our prayers lately, and he really says some funny things. He blesses everyone and everything 6 times. With President Monson as the new prophet EJ has already blessed him in many ways. "Thomas the Prophet", and "Thomas S Monson whose last name is President Monson" To name a few. He keeps us on our toes for sure!
Jett has had a rough day, I sure hope this tooth is close so he can feel a little better!
On a side note Jay just wanted me to do another post because he did not like the picture of his hand at the top of our page! he he.

Surgery!!

Well Jay had surgery on his hand yesterday. He had a cyst removed from his wrist. No fun! He had a lot of scar tissue from a previous procedure so a 30 min surgery took 1hr and 20 min!
He was feeling pretty good last night so we took the kids to Speedracer. EJ thought it was the coolest movie ever!

Small Stars and Baseball!

The big news at the Hoover house today was that Jaylee made Small Stars! Woo Hoo! She was very excited. This is Jaylee's dance group at The Dance Club for those of you who do not know.

EJ also is ready to start T-ball he could not be more excited! It was rainy so his practice was cancelled :( So Daddy took him out to practice a little any way. He had been dressed in baseball clothes for hours we couldn't resist!

Jett is cutting teeth, poor baby (and mommy). Maybe he will finally get another one on the bottom!
