First week of school

We made it through the first week of school! Jaylee had a lot of fun, and has loved it all. She has been tired, the full day is definately an adjustment for both of us. I am excited for her teacher, she seems great. We will see how the year goes, so far so good!

This is Jaylee's favorite school outfit with the arm things

My favorite school outfit, because she still looks little

Exhausted after school we turned around and she was out

Jett also had his 11 month birthday this week. 1 month till my baby turns 1. :(

First Grade!

Jaylee went to her first day of 1st grade this morning. As you can tell I am going to have a harder time with this than her. She is gone all day :( I miss her already. (It has only been 2 hours) She was so excited for school, lunch, and especially to have 3 recesses. We went and looked at her class list yesterday and she didn't really know anyone. She looked at me and said, it's ok mom I will make lots of new friends. She has such self confidence that I love and want to help her keep and develop. She was excited to go and learn. She is supposed to come home and tell me all about it. I told her I was going to miss her, and she said I could come while she is on recess and she will wave at me through the fence. How cute is that!

St. George!!

Jaylee, Jett and I went down to St. George for the weekend, we had so much fun. My mom, Heidi, Amanda, Rachel, Kathy, and I went to Les Mis on Thursday. It was incredible. Our seats were great we could even see the actors facial expressions. Thank You Kathy! Then on Friday we took the kiddos to The Sound of Music. Jaylee loved it. She especially loved the puppet show part. We also got to play at splash pads, go shopping, etc. It was a great weekend girl getaway! We need one every year ladies. Thank you for the good time.
Daddy kept EJ at home and they got to hang out. Which EJ thought was really cool. They went on the Kenecott tour, and to see the Star wars clone movie. Fun boy stuff.

Swim Lessons

My mom has taught swim lessons for years and years. I have helped her with the books forever as well. So all summer my kids have swim lessons. They have become quite the little swimmers. This is the first Monday we have not had to go. The kids were sad, they love swimming with Nanny!

Dance Attack!!

This past week Jaylee and I attended a dance workshop in Park City. It is a workshop The Dance Club holds twice yearly. We had such a great time. Most of the teachers were from "So you think you can dance"! After each class Jaylee would say "that was my favorite mom!" she couldn't get enough. Here are a few pics with the teachers.

Busy July

I love July! The fourth is always so much fun. We were able to go to Stadium of Fire this year, it was so much fun. Thanks for the tickets Ammon. Jaylee and EJ loved that the entertainment was Miley Cyrus, the Blue Man Group was great as well, my favorite was the sky divers, and Jett slept through the fireworks! We had a great 4th.
We have been running the past few weeks, between t-ball, dance, swim, etc. I will be better at updating. My new calling, work and crazy summer has kept us busy!

Fun Summer Weekends

I love summertime. There is always so many fun things to do. This past week was Lehi Round up. It is a tradition to attend the festivities, and we did a lot. The parade, family fun day in the park, and the rodeo. The kids had a blast. I love doing these fun things with the kids even if it is a ton of work. Some of these same summer memories I had as a kid, and they are some of my fondest. I love that I get to make similar memories with my kids too.

Jaylee always looks forward to the face painting, they do a good job too.

The rodeo always E.J.'s favorite!
